2019 Interior Design Trends

Celebrate the new year with a new style for your home! Whether you are re-doing your space top to bottom or just want to add a personal touch, here are ten 2019 home design trends we’re loving:

1. Bold, Oversized Patterns

From tile accent walls featuring fun & fearless patterns to pillows, curtains, rugs, accent pieces and beyond – 2019 will bring a mix of lively patterns to the design table!

2. Rich Color Palettes

In 2019, rich, jewel-tone colors like amethyst, ruby,  emerald, sapphire, garnet, and citrine are what it’s all about. Don’t be afraid to mix and match rich colors with high-contrast colors for a bold look.

3. Brass Decor

Brass isn’t new, but it isn’t going anywhere for 2019! Brass is a surprisingly warm and subtle alternative to the expected steel accents like stainless steel and polished nickel.

4. Farmhouse Sinks

Also known as trough or bucket sinks, farmhouse-inspired sinks are already making a big comeback this year. Add personality and a touch of nostalgia to any kitchen or bathroom design with this look!

5. Light Wood Floors

This year light-colored floors will be making a comeback, thanks to the growing desire for a more airy and open look and feel. Shades of birch, beachy white and light oak reflect more light and can transition from casual to luxurious looks.

6. Natural Elements

This year, we will see a move towards fresh, natural materials being used in home design, such as stone, copper, concrete, and granite.

7. Vintage Lighting

Expect to see lots of vintage-look pendants and sconces in brass and copper finishes. This year’s trending metals will come together in unison with popular lighting designs.

8. Modern Boho

The boho vibe is back again, but with a vintage/modern twist. Curved furnishings, softer lines and mixing of modern and vintage is what we expect to see in 2019.

9. White + Splash of Color

Tempered by neutral layers and tons of texture, adding a trendy splash of color to your palette is a simple way to liven up your interior design.

10. Low-Pile Carpet & Rugs

Low-pile carpet and rug choices will still be popular in 2019. These options are easier to clean, and even with moving doors and furniture, you don’t see any marks.
