Enter Our “Give a Kitchen. Change a Life.” $15,000 Kitchen Giveaway

National Design Mart knows the kitchen is more than just a place to cook. It’s a place of nourishment for the body and comfort for the mind and spirit, where we share our meals, and more importantly, our moments

Now National Design Mart is asking for help identifying a deserving individual or family who could use a kitchen to help make their home an even better place to share life’s best moments.

Briefly tell the story of why the individual or family you’re nominating deserves to win a $15,000 National Design Mart gift certificate toward the purchases required for a new and/or improved kitchen in their home.

Contest nominees should have compelling stories that demonstrate strong character, need and community spirit to have the best chance to be selected. Consider examples of individuals or families who have:

Given generously to others without asking for anything in return
Served their community or country nobly
Faced adversity or risen to challenges with admirable spirit
Demonstrated a true need for this essential home improvement and amenity

Nomination period ends March 8, 2018.

When is the nomination period?

Nominations will be accepted from February 15, 2018, through March 8, 2018.

Can entrants nominate their own families?

You CAN nominate family members who you believe are deserving – as long as you do not reside in the home that will receive the kitchen makeover with the contest prize.

Who selects the winner?

The winning entrant will be selected by Leslie King and a panel of community members.

When will the winner be selected?

The winning individual or family will be announced on Facebook Live March 15, 2018.

Does the winner get to design their new kitchen?

Yes, the individual or family chosen will work with our interior designers to plan their dream kitchen!

The King family has operated the 100% family-owned National Design Mart for two generations. As a sign of gratitude, the family created the National Gives Back program to say thank you to the families who live and shop in the communities they serve. The King family believes that family and community are the lifeblood of the country and their success for generations.
